Warning Message if Placement is made outside of licensing parameters
warning banner, when we place a child into a home that is outside of the licensing parameters as entered in the licensing tab for a home? For example:
- Placing a 4th child in a home with a max capacity of 3;
- or placing a child in a home with a Service Type that does not match the homes licensed service types (case is ED, but home's Service Types do not include ED);
- or placing a child in a home who's age is outside of the low/high age range;
- or placing a child in a home where the gender/race/etc. does not…

Ability to Append Youth Initials to Subject Instead of Youth Full Name
To help keep our clients' names and information confidential, we would like the ability to append youth initials to email subjects instead of youth full names, when emailing out case notes or reports.
This would prevent us from having to go through the steps of downloading a report/case note, opening up a secure email system outside of Extended Reach, and emailing a team member through secure email.

Bulk Change assigned worker
We have had an employee leave so we had to change the assigned worker. The same worker will be taking over all the cases. Right now you have to go into each family and individually change the worker. I had to change approximately 30 this way which gets time consuming

Adding all participants placed at a specific placement for a Group Note
We use group notes to alert all participants placed at a single site in certain situations. We'd like to see a link to "Add all open cases placed at.." on activities setup for the Group functionality. Click the link should prompt for the worker to select the placement from a list. Then, it should add all participants with an active placement at that location.
This makes sense for the Foster Care module. Screenshot below.

Upload template to auto-create & populate new referral, case, etc.
Create template forms that can be filled out by an external party (typed-in, not handwritten), emailed/uploaded into ER, and then "approved" into automatically creating a referral or case and use data from the form to populate the fields in the referral or case. Possibly a form & form "map" situation where the map tells ER which fields to populate with data from the uploaded form.

Case Discharge Reasons
Currently there is no way to turn off the feature that allows staff to enter in their own discharge reasons. There should be a setting on the backend that allows this option to be turned off for agencies that do not want staff to write in their own discharge reasons and select from the list of dropdown items only.

Allow Custom Forms to be shared with Family Website instead of just attached files
Currently you can share attached files posted to a case file or home file with the Family Website. We use custom forms built using form builder for many of our follow up activities and reports. We would like these to be able to be shared with the family website.

Allow funding workers to be to added to the people tab and linked between cases.
This will allow the management of their contact information in a single location without the need to renter it.

Search bar for file as opposed to drop box only
Currently there Is only a Dropbox option when searching the case file on ER. It would be nice to have a search box option, where you can begin to type the name of the form you are looking for and It would pop up. It would be faster too. Especially when looking for a form or fie that may not yet have been generated. Instead of scrolling through the list several times trying to find it, you could just type it in and If it is there it will pop up, if not it wont.

Remove menu column and choices on left side for specific users.
Option to HIDE ALL (or most) menu options on left side of home screen for specific workers.
I have a contractor that will be using the system for home studies. However, I do not want them to be able to see any options on the left menu column (My Stuff, Cases, Homes, Summaries, Administration) that they are not directly attached to under a secondary worker.
I only want them to be able to access the SINGLE FAMILY or FAMILIES that I give them access to.
I have heard that MANY people have requested this option. Being able to very…4 votesThis feature has been added. You can enable it on your organization preference settings tab (advanced option). It is called “System: Enable navigation show/hide settings (advanced)”. Once this is enabled, you can control the menus on the individual user profiles.

Transfer between organizations
We have two separate systems for our Foster Care and Residential programs. We can share staff between the systems. It would be helpful to be able to transfer cases between systems and organizations as well.

foster home list for case managers not just the child numbers
Is it possible to have it where you can show the number of homes the Case Manager have as well as the number of children?

Have a field code to pull archived treatment goals into a form
Currently you can only pull "in process" treatment goals into a form. It would be nice to have a field code that can pull in any "completed" treatment goals. For North Carolina cases, having this be able to be pulled into a form would keep it Medicaid compliant.

"Allow Custom Form field codes to be generated manually" in a way that doesn't erase the rest of the document
Since we cannot currently pull reports into a document, it would be nice to know that when we updated information the case worker could update their document without erasing everything they have already done.

Custom "Marital Status" options on the Case Record
In our implementation, we serve a very diverse population. We need to be able to categorize their "marital status" beyond the traditional. Single, Married, Divorced, and Widowed" options built into extendedReach. This seems like a no-brainer, as custom options are available in the home settings.

Column titles/sorting columns
On the rosters pages for both cases and homes, can you lock the title lines so that when you are scrolling down and find your family/case, you can still see the title of the columns? It would be nice to be able to sort by the columns also without exporting the whole roster.

Title lines are now locked. We don’t have plans to add sorting at the moment (you have to use the “Group by” button. We will be adding a custom report builder later this year that should allow custom sorting by columns.

Option to permanently purge a case record after x years
Some contracts require a purge of client records after seven years (permanently - securely wiping disk/shredding hard copy case file without the ability to recover). Have eR send an email alert to remind staff to shred the paper records at the same time the electronic records are purged.
