Add support for repeating due dates for Home Training
Yeah - we normally encourage using expiration dates vs. due dates for training because of this issue and because trainings at our other customers typically don't have a "Due Date" vs. an "Expiration Date". Pathway's training schedule doesn't work this way - and does make it more suitable for due dates.
So probably the least bad option - if only one of the two household members takes the training (for example due 3/31/2016) - record it with just the one parent's name checked. The next training will be marked as due one year out (3/31/2017). You will need to edit the next training date (3/31/2017); change it to 3/31/2016 and in the "Attending" make sure only the remaining parent's name is checked. After that parent completes the class a new training will be created as due for 3/31/2017 and you should be all set to go forward.
I realize this is a workaround - I can add this to a list of known system issues to see if we can address as a system enhancement at some point in the future.
