Be consistent with date entry
It is nice to be able to enter dates as MM.DD but this is not always accepted and you have to click on the little tiny calendar and date. This gets time consuming. Specifically in the payment posting of check date and deposit date. Consistency is always a good thing.

all of the date fields in ER are inconsistently set and therefore adding more time to those entering data. They should all be formatted in the same way no matter where in the program that they appear. This is just basic programming.
In some date fields one can enter mmddyyyy and it goes through fine. in others, that same entry gets rejected stating the date must be mm/dd/yyyy. It is time-consuming at best let alone a bit distracting and annoying.
Yes, we can just make sure to enter it always as mm/dd/yyyy and therefore not be subject to any system rejection; however, it should not be so. The system should be programmed correctly.
Would be nice to see this fixed soon.
