Client portal in the GCM module and FC module
The foster care module has a family portal which can have clients submit documents through. In the GCM module we also have a need for this, but no capability to do this.
89 votesWe are beginning the design stage of a Client Portal. We will be looking for people to be on a Client Portal focus group, that will meet occasionally to review progress and provide feedback. We will also want volunteer organizations to Beta test the Client Portal as it releases in stages. Email alerts to workers for client responses to SMS appointment reminders
Create an email alert event type in GCM for client responses to SMS appointment reminders - so a worker receives alerts for appointment confirmations and reschedule requests without having to check the history of an appointment record.

Collect custom fields from a specific time range instead of just the last completed Form
Currently, we can only pull Custom fields from the last completed form. It would be VERY useful for our program to collect Custom fields across a specific range of complete forms. For example, we could collect just the Safety and Behavior Description field of our Daily Progress note for an entire month.

Create more permission levels like KCare has
This needs to be broken down so that not everyone has to be made a system admin. They need to create more choices for permissions. Even simple billing things are not under the billing admin. My admin assistant, I can't get her to see financials like I need to.

Include the option to add Addendums to custom forms and incident reports- useful for documenting "review" rather than "approval".
Allow other individuals to put comments on a custom form or incident report via an addendum. We currently use the incident review feature in KCare but seem to have lost that functionality in extendedReach. Documenting follow-up on the incident is something auditors look for and the current extendedReach system does not have an effective way to do this. You can sign it, but you cannot put in additional comments.

Prevent user from completing activity/report that still has pending external signatures
We would like to be able to configure an activity/report so that it cannot be marked as "Completed" if there are still pending external signature requests.
Sometimes a worker is unable to obtain an electronic signature that they sent out a signature request on but they do obtain a hard copy which they attach to the activity/report ...but they forget to revoke the signature request so it is then left as a pending signature request in the "Awaiting external signatures" list even though the activity/report has already been marked as completed. This means that you then have to go back…

Allow emails sent from Activity Screen to be sent from the user's email rather than extended reach email.
We need to send reports to outside funders, however the email button in the Activity/Report screens does not send from the user's email, but rather from the extended reach email. It would be helpful to be able to email from the user's email, so that the outside funder/case manager could respond.

Rename "gender" field to "Sex Assigned At Birth"
Gender field should be labeled as "sex assigned at birth" to more accurately reflect the information legally required and be inclusive of individuals who no longer identify with that label. This is basic trauma-informed and inclusive best practice for mental and physical healthcare providers.

Be able to merge duplicate cases in GCM
If a case was entered twice be able to merge it and consolidate case files. (both in Foster Care and GCM systems).

Capability to send mass text to clients
Our staff would love to be able to send text messages to clients from eR. I envision a client dropdown like when file from your eR inbox, so staff could select the individuals to receive the text, with a field to enter the text message, that would upload to the client's record.

text appointment reminder at multiple intervals for clients on th GCM module
Please add the ability to schedule multiple interval text appointment reminders in the program configurator. Clients could get a text reminder 5 days, 2 days, and 1 day before their scheduled appointment through eR.

Auditor Role have access to Case File sorted in same manner by report/activity, have access to Compliance Tab
Current Auditor roles does not allow access to viewing Compliance tab, or any other features that are helpful for an auditor to view in a snapshot. Instead they are asked to go through a huge list of documents and often do not have time for this so just ask us to find and scan separately anyway. Would also be nice to be able to just turn on a report or activity for them to review rather than having to click every-single-entry made.

GCM Features same as Residential
GCM does not have all the features that the Residential module has. For example, the preferred name pulls over to the side bar in residential module, but not in GCM. All residential module features should at least be options in GCM.

Add a date filter to summary reports
Currently when downloading a summary report to excel, you have to download all of the data. This is an issue as over the years, our data has grown and these are extremely large excel files. Sometimes these reports can take 15-20 minutes just to download.
This can be solved by adding a date filtering option so that we can pull down only the relevent data we need rather than the entire dataset.

Turning off tabs for User Groups
Need the ability to turn off tabs for certain user groups. Certain user groups do not need access to all the information.

Actions triggered by a client's age / documents generated based on client's age
It would be nice if we could trigger certain documents to automatically generate based on a client's age. We have a form that gets filled out when a client turns 16. Also, when client's turn 18 we need to close and if something notified us a few weeks before, it would be helpful.

to be able to restrict Place of Service codes to a particular activity, in order to reduce user errors resulting in non-payment by insurers
For Medicaid services, according to the Covered Service Guide for AHCCCS in AZ, only specific Place of Service Codes are eligible for specific HCPC service codes. It would help if we could select and limit specific POS codes when creating or editing service activities.

Billing Rules for less errors
Allow there to be flags or billing rules built into the back end of eR that trigger flags or shut down users from billing incorrectly. For example, if a user tries to bill Therapy (30 mins) and Family Therapy (30 mins) in the same day, then it would either say NO or it would trigger an administrator to review before generating a claim, because it is not allowed to be billed. Same thing for not allowing claims to be generated for case notes that are dated 2 weeks late, allowing it to do the documentation, but not necessarily billing it…

Print Formatting
Provide further customized options in how Reports and Activities are formatted when printed. Some of the Reports can be quite lengthy, have empty space, and generally are hard to read when printed. If the reports could be exported to an uploaded Word document format with the assigned field codes before printing, that would be a big help.
